Meet the Presenters - SCORE Southern NH 2008
SCORE workshops are practical as opposed to mostly theory; full of information you can put to use right now. They are geared specifically to help you get started in business or enhance your existing one. All workshops are conducted by experienced SCORE counselors and/or working professionals expert in their field.
John Benjamin
Career focus: business systems, operations, R&D, general management, strategic planning and metallurgy.
Held positions of Director and General Manager.

Harvey Bloom
Career focus: research, design, development, manufacture and support of advanced electronics systems. Experience in Computer, Electronic Publishing and Scientific Instrumentation Industries.
Held positions of Project Engineer, Manager, Director and Vice-President. Experience from start-up to large international companies. Obtained BS in Electrical Engineering and MBA from Northeastern University.
Randy Roody
Career Focus: sales and sales marketing
Held positions of sales manager, product manager for Teradyne Inc.
Obtained a BA from Colby College, Waterville, Maine
Leonard Rosen
Career focus: systems engineering, advanced concepts and design, development and manufacture of large electronic/ mechanical systems.
Held positions of Director, Plant Manager, Programs Manager and Division President. Obtained BSEE from the University of Nebraska, MSEE from USC and ScD courses from UCLA
C. S. Wurzberger
Founder and president of Neuland Business Campus.
C S is an accomplished Internet marketing specialist, usability advisor, retail marketing expert and seminar and workshop leader. She has extensive experience and training in managing all aspects of Web site development for small-to-mid-size businesses, with a specialized focus on retail and wholesale companies. C S presents her real-world expertise with a variety of business organizations devoted to small-business success, including SCORE Counselors to America’s Business, several professional organizations including Simmons School or Management, Center for Women and Enterprise, Boston, and national gift shows across the country.
She co-authored and published a workbook for business marketers: 9 Easy Steps to Planning a Profitable Web Site and just recently released her next book Your 7-Step Road Map to Finding More Customers.
Obtained BA from Norwich Univ. and a certificate in Web site Development from Northeast Technical Inst.

QuickBooks For Small Business - Bedford Libary - 3 Meeting House Road, Bedford, NH:
This workshop will address capability of QuickBooks, the most popular small business accounting package, and discuss the tasks needed to keep it up to date. Also we will review important set up decisions that will help make the software more effective. Accounting Software helps the owner make important financial decisions based on current data. For some, it is the difference between success and failure.

This workshop focuses on the tax laws in a manner that the small business owner can understand and then use many to enhance the cash flow and profitability of the operation while in full compliance with the law. A detail road map of how the business owners operation flows into the basic IRS 1040 forms which must be submitted is provided in a clear and simple manner. In addition, many useful IRS publications which address the basics for small business operations are discussed.
